Patients who has a denture, especially lower denture, knows how hard it is to normally function feeling that uncomfortable movements of a denture. Under such circumstances, when we don't have teeth, we need to fix denture to artificial roots, that is implants. On the dentistry market there are available many kinds of dental prosthesis reconstruction, further perfect reconstructions of a lost ability to chew is related to higher expenses.

You may apply your current denture or perform a new one by using implant stabilization. That was the purpose to create ANKYLOS-SynCone, which thanks to implants inserted into bone, in the front part of it, gives the dental total stabilization. You'll be able to bite a pear or an apple again!

The procedure is based on prefabricated elements which eliminates the prosthesis laboratory costs, thanks to this the system is 30% cheaper than the one which uses for example the two implants beams and 70% cheaper than total bridges based on the minimum of 6 implants.

The simplified procedure was implemented on the Polish market, and the total cost of this treatment was established on the level of PLN 12,900. The integral surgery and prosthesis procedure takes about 2 hours. The effect of the treatment is visible straight away. The four implants are inserted under local anesthetic in the front part of a chin or underneath the nasal area.

The prosthesis stage uses the telescope technique that is, very precise elements adjacent to each other. These elements are the conjunction between the implant and the denture.

It's necessarily to highlight that thanks to the new active CELLplus surface applied on the Ankylos implants they are classified as the most modern on the current market. The CELL plus implant's surface actively supports the biological processes leading to the bone accumulation around the implant. The surface works as a sponge and absorbs from the environment both the blood and the circulated in it bone tissues. That accelerates the healing process of the implant. Yet, after only 5 days (!) the permanent bone bonding is generated - implant.

With the Ankylos system using your own denture or a new one made-up especially for this purpose the adoption and immediate connection with the implants which were inserted into bone is possible. After the treatment the patient is obliged to wear denture for 7 days nonstop at the same time being on a diet and using the antiseptic mouthwashes. Soft food is recommended during the first 14 days.

After this period of time, during the check-up visit, the denture is took off and if everything proceeds correctly we can move on to the next stage. The denture wearing is recommended in the three days periods, without taking it off.

We repeat this series twice, or three times. Than we can proceed to careful hygiene as well as gums and dentures care.
