Children and teenagers dental care should prevent all the future dental problems and heal the young person chewing organ on every stage of its development. Every child should be under permanent care of a dentist even though there seems to be no need.
Regular dental visits should start quite early. It is recommended that the first visit should take place at the age of 1, just after the firs teeth comes out. Then the doctor checks whether the face and the oral cavity development is correct and sets down the guidelines concerning the diet and the eruption of the milk teeth treatment.
Dental caries are very often caused by the faulty diet and the child nourishing mistakes, which still occurs even though health education is available to everybody. This peculiar concern for children is justified by the huge susceptibility to caries of both milk and permanent teeth. The caries, called early, is very often a serious dental problem in an early childhood (two-, three - year olds). It is a very serious form of caries which may lead to the milk teeth destruction within only a few months and as a following the premature extraction might be necessarily. It is a great loss when it is necessarily to extract just erupted tooth or very often a few teeth at the same time of the 3 year old because of the caries complication. That is why when parents only see any changes on the teeth (spots, discolours etc.) they should immediately see a children dentist instead of postponing it. Little patients treatment is very difficult, expensive and at the same time moving experience for both parents and their children. It`s better to prevent toddlers from the unnecessarily stress and that kind of situations.

One should be also alerted when the child grows up. The dentition replacement is a very crucial moment. The first permanent teeth (mostly the molar teeth comes out first and are popularly called "sixth") appears at 6 year olds and their eruption is not preceded by the milk teeth falling out. Hence the situation of their appearance might be oversight. The molar teeth demands peculiar care. Thus being the last one in the dental arch they aren't usually cleaned properly not to mention their chewed surface (many and deep furrows) which are conductive to accumulate the tartar on them (that is dental plaque) - the caries factor. The molar teeth are very quickly attacked by the caries. From the whole permanent dental arch "sixth" are the one suffering the most often, the loss of "sixth" is usually caused by the negligence in the childhood. In the case of regular dental visits the eruption of "sixth" is not missed and newly erupted "sixth" is properly secured against the caries by the very simple and cheap treatment - sealing of furrows and gaps. Sealed teeth requires systematic check-ups, among others, what shouldn't be forgotten, is to check-up tightness of the seal. Similar prophylactic treatment is required for the rest of the erupting teeth. Taking care of oral cavity hygiene at the developmental age is in plus for the future. It is possible to save our children dentition from the caries. Besides prophylactic costs are incomparable lower to the treatment cost.
Remember, that regular control visits can save your time, stress, money, and what's the most important - Your child won't suffer.
